King Abdullah International Medical Research Center (KAIMRC) participated actively as a main partner in the 5th International Conference on Nanotechnology in Medicine which was held in June 26th-28th 2018 in Manchester, UK. The conference was attended by Nanomedicine experts and scientists from all over the world including Prof. Khalid Abu-Salah from the Nanomedicine department of KAIMRC who was a member of the scientific and organizational committee of the conference. Prof. Abu-Salah gave an invited talk on “DNA –based nano-biosensors as an emerging platform for diagnosis of disease”.
The partnership of KAIMRC in the scientific and organizational committee of the conference reflects on KAIMRC international status in medical research both at the regional and international levels.
شارك مركز الملك عبدالله العالمي للأبحاث الطبية في “المؤتمر العالمي الخامس في طب النانو” الذي أقيم في مدينة مانشستر الانجليزية في الفترة من ٢٦ حتى ٢٨ يونيو ٢٠١٨ م، إذ تواجد الاستاذ الدكتور خالد ابو صلاح كعضو في اللجنة العلمية والمنظمة لهذا المؤتمر مبرزا دور وفعالية وأهمية “كيمارك” في مجال الابحاث الطبية النانوية في الشرق الأوسط، وقدم محاضرة بدعوة من منظمي المؤتمر تحت عنوان “أدوات الاستشعار النانوية المعتمدة على الحمض النووي كدعامة ناشئة للكشف عن الأمراض.
وتأتي مشاركة “كيمارك” في اللجنة العلمية والتنظيمية للمؤتمر نظراً لمكانته العالمية في الابحاث الطبية وتحديدا ابحاث طب النانو، وما يمثله المركز من ثقل بحثي وضع له مكانة عالية مكنته من المشاركة في الكثير من المؤتمرات العالمية والإقليمية كأحد المراكز الرائدة على مستوى الشرق الأوسط والمملكة
