 Biostatistics

The Biostatistics department at King Abdullah International Medical Research Center (KAIMRC) has Researchers with diverse expertise in public health, medicine, and mathematics to develop, manage, and maintain biostatistics, data mining, and predictive analytics platforms for clinical research aligned with KAIMRC's vision. We collaborate in research initiatives in diabetes and obesity, cancer, heat stress, genetic diseases, and infectious diseases. We conduct independent biostatistics research projects and provide clinical researchers with general technical advice and systematic educational seminars, courses, and workshops.

  • To Develop cutting-edge biostatistics methods and tools: The Biostatistics department is committed to developing new and innovative biostatistics methods and tools that can be used to accelerate translational research. This research helps to improve the quality and rigor of clinical trials, and it also helps to make the results of these trials more accessible to researchers and clinicians.
  • To Be an “analytic platform for designing and analyzing Clinical Trials" center of excellence in the region: The Biostatistics department is a leading center for designing and analyzing clinical trials. We have a team of experienced biostatisticians who can provide statistical expertise to researchers at all stages of the clinical trial process.
  • To Promote the correct use of Biostatistics methodology: The Biostatistics department promotes the proper use of Biostatistics methodology through seminars and short courses for researchers and scientists. These courses provide participants with the knowledge and skills to use biostatistics methods effectively in their research.
  • Serve as technical resources and offer expertise: The Biostatistics department serves as technical resources and offers expertise for researchers at KAIMRC, KSAU-HS, MNGHA, and external collaborators.
