Residents’ Research Program (RRP) will be based on a combination of didactic hours, practice sessions, and supervised research. The program will incorporate adult-learning principles, basing discussions on problems and focusing on hands-on practice as opposed to abstract notions and information. Residents will be encouraged to form groups of 2-4 who would work together on a clinical Research Project for the entire duration of their residency. Residents will get, over their residency tenure, a total of two fulltime months of clinical research training, interposed with a period of conducting supervised research. By the end of their residency training, the residents will have had the required research skills and the opportunity to complete a clinical research paper of publishable quality.
