Under the auspices of His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and on his behalf – may God protect him – His Royal Highness Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Minister of the National Guard, inaugurates the “Riyadh International Summit for Biotechnology and Medicine 2023”, which is organized by King Abdullah International Medical Research Center and the Ministry The National Guard – Health Affairs during the period of 25-26 January 2023.
The summit aims to consolidate the position of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as a global gateway to medical biotechnology, by building global partnerships and introducing programs to develop the national pharmaceutical industry.
This important event will host biomedical and health research experts, physicians, faculty members, pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry leaders, representatives of health institutions, and research and development experts around the world.
A group of local and international scientists and experts from around the world will participate in the summit axes for this year, through scientific sessions aimed at proposing models and opportunities for the development of biotechnology and industrial partnerships, and discussing areas of addressing medical challenges, researching and finding investment opportunities in the health industry and agreements with leading companies.
This summit is part of a series of national initiatives linked to the biomedical technology system in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which seeks to strengthen the national knowledge based economy and research industries, and aligned with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
